Hi! I’m Ali.

I started Little Spark Theater to ensure that even the smallest of children have access to theater education.

I’m a certified theater teacher, English teacher, and theatrical director with a passion for education. I spent 13 years in traditional classroom settings teaching both theater and English before I decided to find my own path in education. The idea for Little Spark came to me when I was searching for activities to do with my young son. I found some interesting offerings, but I couldn’t find any theater. I thought, why aren’t there theater classes for little ones? So I decided to do it myself.

I started Little Spark because I’m passionate about both education and theater. I believe that every child needs theater in their life to build confidence, empathy, and a sense of self. I believe every child needs theater to ignite their little spark of madness. That’s why I bring theater right into your community through libraries and school enrichment.
